How I Make Money With Easy Amazon Profits
[tweet_dis]Easy Amazon profits can be found in any number of ways[/tweet_dis] from private labeling to affiliate sales to selling any number of products. Starting out as an affiliate with Amazon gave quite an education on what to do and how to do it.
The affiliate side is where many people start and it is a great way to start. Identify a product, make a video or a blog post about it, share this with as many people as you can and when someone buys, you get a commission.
Lately, there are a lot of people doing private label sales on Amazon, myself included.
This is a great method with incredibly high profit margins. The downside? You have to have a ton of money to get your inventory. I have used Alibaba and Alsiexpress which are great places to source.
Are there other ways to get easy Amazon profits?
Yes, using retail arbitrage.
Retail Arbitrage For Easy Amazon Profits
Let’s start with the obvious question: what is arbitrage? According to Dictionary.com:
For our purposes, arbitrage is buying 1 item for a low price and reselling on Amazon at a higher price.
I first started doing this about 4 years ago and have found it to be very lucrative.
How does it work? You go to places like Goodwill, Salvation Army, Walmart, Target and any number of other retail stores and identify values you can resell.
Here is the killer part of this strategy: Amazon will actually handle ALL support for you if you just send them the inventory to sell.
How cool is that?
So what do you need to find some products? A smartphone.
A Smartphone Is The Key To Easy Amazon Profits
I use an iPhone but a Droid will work too. You download the Amazon Seller App and it allows you to scan the bar code of an item and see what it is selling for on Amazon RIGHT NOW.
It could not be any easier.
My favorite store by far is Walmart. now, I am not a fan of that store in general, but for retail arbitrage, very, very few can beat it.
The clearance stickers are easy to find with a big splash of red on them.
You will quickly find your favorite sections. Mine are toys, sporting goods and housewares.
Many a profitable coffee pot or blender can be had there.
Never mind the pedometers and camping supplies.
Easy Amazon Profits With Shoes?
One of my students, Brendan, actually took what I taught him about this strategy, retail arbitrage, and letting Amazon handle everything, called FBA or Fulfillment by Amazon, and has turned it into a $250,000 business this year.
Let me give you a little background. Brendan was a bowling alley manager trying to start an online business and asked to interview me so he could try to make some money as an affiliate.
We had an awesome interview. A short time later, he lost his job at the bowling alley and was in a panic.
He took the Amazon FBA program I created and started doing it immediately. Before he knew it, he was crushing it.
So, I decided to interview him and find out how he was doing it. Want to see the video?
